B-6 Sheepskin

The B6 Flight Jacket was introduced to American Flight and Ground Crews in June 1939. It quickly became popular and replaced the B3 as it was seen as the slightly lighter and less bulky design.
When worn in the tight confines of the cockpit, it was benifical for the Pilots comfort as well as their movement.
Its extemely rare to come across an original WW2, B6 flight jacket in this day and age, but we were lucky enough to get our hands on one.
The Noble House B6- Sheepskin is an exact replica with all of the details of the original including the unique red coloring which is achived via the Vegetable tanning method.

decent looking but overall disappointed. not made in Germany to start with. The one sleeve seems to be a different run of leather and is very stiff and brittle compared to the rest of the jacket. Worst, the seams on the inside at the rear of the shoulders, from the expansion panel on the back, are uncomfortably huge and make the jacket difficult to wear.
