A-2, Thousand Miles
The A-2 jacket of the US
Army Airforce was introduced in 1930 and produced until about 1942,
it was the successor to the A-1 jacket.
The B-3 sheepskin jackets
were developed for pilots flying at higher altitudes but the A-2s are
the orignal fighter pilot jacket.
Our Thousand Miles jacket is made
from premium quality steerhide and vegetable tanned in our own
